Heart-pounding tension will draw you though the valley of death's shadow as Nkembe and Gullah T desperately fight for their freedom and survival.

My ancestors fought against slavery with cunning and patience as they smuggled slaves to Ohio on their path to freedom.
Their brave stories inspired me
to write Tiny Blush of Sunlight.
The story is fiction, but it holds true to the ideals of my ancestors and the history of the antebellum period.
I researched the history of the 1830s extensively as I wrote this novel.
